Beginning March 8, 2010, the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) will begin the rehabilitation work on the Freeman Highway Bridge near the Lewes Ferry terminal. One lane of the Freeman Highway Bridge will be closed for this construction activity through June 25. Traffic on the structure will be regulated with a traffic light. The DRBA has designed the project for as few delays as possible. However, some delays should be expected, especially during the first phase of the project.
