All Hands on Deck for the Symphony at Sea
Dover Symphony to Set Sail Aboard the MV Twin Capes
(Lewes, Delaware) On Sunday, May 15, the Cape May – Lewes Ferry (CMLF) will host the 60-member Dover Symphony Orchestra aboard the MV Twin Capes for a special fundraising event, “The Symphony at Sea.”
What: The 60-member Dover Symphony Orchestra will sail into spring by entertaining music lovers during the “Symphony at Sea” aboard the MV Twin Capes. Passengers will be entertained with “Big Band to Broadway,” including popular tunes from famous shows. The musical cruise will also include wine tasting, lavish hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants, cocktails, and a silent auction of unique items.
When: Sunday, May 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The ferry will make a round trip cruise from Lewes, Del., to Cape May, NJ.
Where: MV Twin Capes departs the Lewes Ferry Terminal for a round trip cruise from Lewes, DE to Cape May, NJ.

Why: All proceeds benefit the Dover Symphony Orchestra. The Dover Symphony Orchestra, Inc., a non-profit organization, is funded through grants, member donations, ticket sales, and community donations. Members of the orchestra represent a wide spectrum of professions and vocations. The Dover Symphony involves itself with many different segments of the community through collaborations with schools and other arts organizations. The CMLF has a wide variety of venues for special events and fundraisers – both aboard its vessels and in its waterfront terminals.
