Ferry’s Season of Summer Fun begins Friday, July 6, 2012
(Cape May, NJ) The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is taking the party off dry land with their Rock the Boat Cruises this summer. Every Friday night beginning July 6, 2012 and running through August 24, 2012, cruises will depart from both the Cape May and Lewes terminals, featuring live music performed by local favorites such as GLASS ONION, JUMPER, and ANIMAL HOUSE. So come join us for a fun-filled night of music out on the water!
“We wanted to give people something unique and affordable to do on a Friday night,” said Michael Porch, marketing manager for the Cape May – Lewes Ferry. “Summer is the time to kick back, try new things, and have fun. What better way to achieve all three than on a beautiful cruise along the Delaware Bay, where you dance the night away with family and friends.”
The Ferry’s Rock the Boat cruises take place every Friday from July 6, 2012 through August 24, 2012.
Aboard the 6:00 p.m. departure from the Cape May Terminal, New Jersey foot passengers will be accompanied by the fresh sounds of ANIMAL HOUSE or JUMPER. The cruise returns to the Cape May terminal docks at approximately 9:00 p.m.
For Delaware foot passengers, the ferry will depart from the Lewes Terminal at 6:15 p.m. with the great music of GLASS ONION for you to enjoy. The cruise will return to the Lewes terminal dock at approximately 9:15 p.m.
The entertainment is free with the purchase of a round trip foot passenger ticket, which are 18.00 for guests 14 years of age and older; $9.00 for those between the ages of 6-13, and free for children ages 5 and under.
