Cape May – Lewes Ferry Hosts Sunset (and Wine) Lovers Cruise
Popular Special Cruises Scheduled for September and early October
(Cape May, NJ) Today, Cape May – Lewes Ferry (CMLF) officials announced that another series of its popular Wine Lovers Sunset Cruises on the Delaware Bay will be offered in September and early October, beginning on Friday, September 14. The Lewes cruises will depart the terminal on four consecutive Fridays at 4:15 p.m. while the Cape May cruises are scheduled to leave the terminal on four successive Saturdays at 6:00 p.m.
According to Michael Porch, Marketing Manager for the Cape May – Lewes Ferry, the Wine Lovers Sunset Cruise is that unique remedy for residents and visitors looking to take a break from the ordinary. “As Fall sets in, what could be better than to sip a fine wine, nibble on some delectable hors d’oevres, listen to some music and enjoy a dramatic sunset?” Porch said. “Think of the response when you say to your partner, ‘Honey, I’m taking you on a cruise!’ What a memorable way to experience the Ferry and the wonders of the Delaware Bay as a foot passenger.”
The first series of Wine Lovers Sunset Cruises were held in June 2006 and have continued to be extremely popular with both residents and vacationers.
