Art on the Rocks Debuts at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry
Ferry Partners with Local Art Studio to Host Table-Top Painting Party
(Cape May, N.J) Ever want to learn how to paint, but didn’t know where to start? Looking to do something unique and have fun as spring starts? The Cape May – Lewes Ferry has partnered with Artist on the Rocks Studio in North Cape May to offer the first-ever Table-Top Painting Party at the Cape May Ferry Terminal on Friday, March 27, 2015.
“We are fortunate to have some of the best sunsets in the world right here at the Cape May Terminal overlooking the beautiful Delaware Bay,” said Rhona Bronson, director of marketing at the Ferry. “Imagine creating your very own special sunset masterpiece with your friends or family. What a great opportunity to learn from a professional artist and have fun, too!”
The Cape May Terminal Art Party event will take place on Friday, March 27 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the main dining hall on the first floor of the Cape May Ferry Terminal. The cost is $50.00 per person and includes a 12 x 16 canvas with step-by-step instructions from renowned local artists, wine and appetizers. In addition to supplying her talents and directing the artistic progress, Ms. Bernadette Erb will also provide all the necessary painting supplies, including table top easels.
Like wine tastings and beer dinners, tabletop painting parties are a growing trend, particularly for a ladies night out. The inaugural table-top painting at the Ferry follows three Ferry Beer Flight Dinners that proved very successful.
Sandra Daniels, manager of banquets and events added that the Cape May – Lewes Ferry has that perfect venue to host your special event. “Our facilities are second to none when it comes to making your event or meeting a special one,” Daniels said. “Whether it’s a business meeting, wedding or a party, our unbelievable venues and friendly staff will make it memorable one.”
Space is limited to ensure a great experience! Due to the anticipated popularity of the event, reservations are required. To reserve tickets for this table-top painting party, please contact our Guest Services Department at 1-800-643-3779 (FERRY) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily to guarantee your space.
