Popular Festival Showcases New Jersey and Delaware Craft Breweries
(Cape May, NJ) – One day, two states, more than twenty craft brewing companies! Are you down for some craft brews? Come join us for Brews by the Bay on Saturday, August 29, the second annual bi-state festival celebrating good times and great beer! The event is hosted by both the Garden State Brewers Guild and the Delaware Brewers Guild. The festival kicks off at the Bayside Green by the Cape May Ferry Terminal at 11:30 a.m. and moves across the Bay to the Green next to the Lewes Ferry Terminal at 4:00 p.m. Participants have the choice of staying on one side or cruising aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry to check out the festival on both sides of the Delaware Bay! Both feature live music, local food, craft brews, and fun adult yard games.
“The Cape May – Lewes Ferry is your ticket to a two-state festival that highlights the growing craft expertise in both New Jersey and Delaware,” said Rhona Bronson, Director of Ferry Marketing. “Brews by the Bay is a must do for local and visiting beer aficionados alike. A day spent by the water, trying new craft brews, enjoying some live music and visiting with family and friends is the perfect way to wrap up the summer season.”

Sponsored by both the Delaware Brewers Guild and Garden State Brewers Guild, Brews-By-The-Bay is a celebration of New Jersey and Delaware brewing talents with your local, homegrown breweries! The Garden State and Delaware Craft Brewers Guilds are not-for-profit organizations that exist to unify the independent craft brewing operations in their respective states. Their mission is to protect, promote, represent, and educate its membership and customers regarding the industry.
