Cape May – Lewes Ferry Hosts “Breakfast with Santa”
Festive Events to be held inside Ferry Terminals in December
(Cape May, NJ) Before loading his sleigh and starting his fast jaunt around the world, Santa has graciously agreed to stop at each Ferry terminal for a special breakfast with some of his favorite Delaware Bay children! The special “Breakfast with Santa” events are scheduled for Sunday, December 6 inside the Cape May Terminal and Saturday, December 12 at the Lewes Terminal. Two special seatings will take place at each location: 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
“Breakfast with Santa is a great opportunity for children to have special one-on-one time with Santa and Mrs. Claus,” said Jennifer Shivers, customer service manager at the Cape May- Lewes Ferry. “Each child will have time to sit with Santa and pose for photos taken by accompanying adults. Mrs. Claus will also be on hand to read Christmas stories to the children and the smiles on the children’s faces make it a can’t-miss event!”
A special buffet breakfast with a variety of tasty brunch treats will be prepared; including assorted juice, chilled mixed fruit, breakfast parfaits, scrambled eggs with assorted toppings, blueberry pancakes, mushroom and spinach strata, bacon, ham, home-fired potatoes, sausage, breakfast pastries, coffee, hot chocolate and candy canes.
Mrs. Claus will be reading two special books that she picked out herself for the occasions, My Christmas Treasury at 10:00 a.m. and Oh, What A Christmas at 11:00 a.m. If desired, home copies of the books may be purchased and signed by both Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Books may be pre-purchased at time of brunch reservation for the child to keep at the event. There is a limited supply of first come-first served books and no guarantee of book availability on the day of the event.
The cost for “Breakfast with Santa” is $13 for children ages 4-12 while adults are $15. Children under the age of 4 are free. Due to limited capacity and anticipated popularity of the event, reservations are recommended. If space permits, walk-up customers will be accommodated. To reserve your tickets for “Breakfast with Santa,” please contact our Guest Services Department at 1-800-643-3779 (FERRY) from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily.
