Frontier Airlines to Register 200,000th Passenger at ILG
Sets Wilmington Airport (ILG) Record for first 11 months of Service
WHAT:        On Thursday, June 19, representatives of Frontier airlines will join with Wilmington Airport (ILG) officials to recognize the 200,000th passenger to use the commercial air service. Celebrating this milestone, the selected passenger will be awarded a $500 Frontier Airlines gift card and special promotional items. It also marks a new record for the first 11 months of commercial service at Wilmington Airport (ILG). Each traveler on the flight will also receive a gift bag, which includes a hat, lanyard, and a snack pack of chocolates.
WHEN:         On Thursday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. The passenger will board Flight #383 destined for Chicago - Midway, which departs at 12:35 p.m. The recognition ceremony will take place inside the Airport Passenger Terminal located at 151 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
WHY:           Frontier Airlines’ Airbus A320, 168-seat aircraft is the largest to serve ILG for more than 25 years. The recognition of the 200,000th passenger to use Wilmington Airport (ILG) demonstrates Frontier’s success as an ultra-low cost carrier and the potential for growth of the regional airports in congested metro markets.
