WHEN: Thursday, July 31st from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. WSTW, 93.7 FM, will broadcast from the terminal from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: The Wilmington Airport terminal, located at 151 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, Delaware 19720.
WHY: Wilmington Airport (ILG)is Delaware’s only commercial-service airport serving the Greater Delaware Valley and the Philadelphia region. Frontier Airlines’ Airbus aircraft is the largest to regularly serve ILG in more than 25 years. This anniversary also benchmarks Frontier’s success as it transforms itself into an ultra-low-cost carrier. This new business model signals the potential for establishing delay-free service from regional airports like ILG in otherwise congested metro areas.
