Ramp from I-295 Southbound to U.S. Route 13 Southbound to Close at Night for Repaving
Construction Work to Take Place December 3-4, 2014
New Castle, DE The Delaware River and Bay Authority announces that their contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete, Inc., will close the Ramp from I-295 southbound to U.S. Route 13 southbound for two consecutive nights, beginning Wednesday, December 3. This construction consists of milling the top surface of asphalt pavement and repaving with new material. Minor repairs to the pavement will also be performed where the ramp ties into U.S. Route 13 southbound. The work will take place between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The ramp will be open during daylight hours.
This closure is weather dependent and will be postponed if inclement conditions occur.

Detour: Travelers will take the Ramp for U.S. Route 13 northbound and make a U-turn at the first intersection (Fairview Avenue) and proceed on U.S. Route 13 southbound.
