“Sir Beatle” performs Sunday, July 15, 2012 and Sunday, August 26, 2012
(N. Cape May, NJ) Recapture all the energy and excitement of a live Beatles performance right here in the Delaware Bay! On Sunday, July 15 and August 26, the Cape May –Lewes Ferry will host the “Sir Beatle” Sing-Along Stage Show aboard the MV Twin Capes. Recreating The Beatles phenomenon live on stage, this show highlights some of the iconic band’s most memorable performances, tracing the boys’ career from their 1964 American debut on the “Ed Sullivan Show” to their final live performance in 1969. Paired alongside live vocals and bass guitar, Sir Beatle uses state of the art guitar and drum tracks to recreate the unique sounds of live Beatles performances. Tack on authentic costuming, like the “Classic Black” suits and the vibrant Sgt. Pepper ensembles, and you just may think you’ve traveled through time.  Fun for all ages, this show is the perfect mixture of nostalgia, history, and music. 
“The Beatles’ created lasting music, which over time, continues to remain popular”, says Charisse Rudolph, Cape May – Lewes Ferry customer service manager. “People of all ages know and love these songs, so when looking for an act that would have mass appeal, the ‘Sir Beatle Sing-Along Show’ seemed an obvious choice for our summer line-up. We hope that everyone is as excited for this event as we are!” 
 “Sir Beatle” will play a 45 minute set in the Debraak Lounge on the MV Twin Capes. Food will be available during the crossing and a cash bar will be open in the lounge.  Two shows are scheduled for each day.   
For New Jersey passengers who depart from the Cape May Terminal at 4:30 p.m., a 45 minute show will take place on the way to Delaware.   The return trip to Cape May at 6:15 p.m. is at leisure aboard the vessel.  
Delaware customers will enjoy the same show on the 6:15 p.m. departure from the Lewes Terminal. The 8:00 p.m. return service to Lewes will be at leisure aboard the Twin Capes.
Tickets cost $18.00 for guests 14 years of age and older, $13.50 for those between the ages of 6-13, and $9.00 for children ages 5 and under. A $5.00 upgrade is available on standard fares and on-board. Due to limited capacity and popularity of the event, reservations are recommended.
