Ice Conditions Halt Cape May – Lewes Ferry Operations
(Cape May, NJ) Due to significant ice accumulations in the Cape May canal and Delaware Bay, Cape May-Lewes Ferry (CMLF) officials announced this afternoon that ferry operations have been suspended for the remainder of today, Thursday, February 19, 2015. The following departures will not operate today:
Cape May, NJ Lewes, DE
11:00 a.m. 12:45 p.m.
6:00 p.m. 7:45 p.m.
The first round trip scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2015 is also cancelled. The following departures will not operate tomorrow morning:
Cape May, NJ Lewes, DE
7:30 a.m. 9:15 a.m.
Given the current conditions and anticipated frigid temperatures overnight, additional departures may also be affected.
