Job Fair at the Lewes Ferry Terminal Set for March 28, 2015
Nearly 100 Seasonal Positions Available

(Lewes, DE) Today, Cape May – Lewes Ferry officials announced a job fair will take place inside the Lewes Terminal on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The purpose of the job fair, which will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., is to attract qualified applicants for seasonal/casual positions in various departments, including Customer Service, Food & Retail, and Maintenance. During the busy summer season, the Ferry hires more than 250 seasonal employees.

“We’re excited to hold our third annual job fair at the Lewes Ferry terminal,” said Heath Gehrke, Director of Ferry Operations. “The Ferry is closely tied to the local communities on both sides of the Bay and we like to hire locally. This event is a great opportunity for prospective candidates to speak with our hiring managers and apply onsite. Whether on land or aboard a vessel, you can’t beat a summer job at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.”

The Cape May – Lewes Ferry has nearly 100 seasonal positions currently available, including food and retail associates, line and prep cooks, servers, customer service representatives, bartenders, porters, servers, warehouse workers and maintenance technicians. Some supervisory seasonal positions are also available.

The job fair will be held inside the Lewes ferry terminal, located at 43 Henlopen Drive in Lewes, Delaware. A welcome table with job postings will be set up and qualified candidates will meet with hiring managers to be interviewed on the spot. Candidates will be able to complete applications on-line at the terminal and are subject to a background check.
