Cape May – Lewes Ferry Offers Cape May County Park and Zoo Package

(Cape May, NJ) If you’re looking for a wild new adventure this summer, look no further than the Cape May – Lewes Ferry Zoo package. Combine a scenic Bay cruise with that of an animal safari for an unforgettable family day trip excursion! With over 250 species of animals, birds and reptiles amidst a beautiful garden, the Ferry’s zoo package is a roaring good time and is now available every Tuesday and Thursday through August 27, 2015.

“This world class zoo features more than 250 animals – from lions and leopards to panthers and pandas, there are so many animals to see!,” said Jennifer Shivers, customer service manager for the Cape May – Lewes Ferry. “With its extensive natural environment and winding trails, the Cape May County Park and Zoo is an awesome family adventure and it’s only a beautiful boat ride away!” Last year, Trip Advisor rated the Cape May County Park & Zoo as one of the top 25 zoos in the country.

Embrace your inner animal at the Zoo’s Central Park Playground, providing children with a chance to swing like a monkey and run like a cheetah. The Zoo also boasts a jungle themed carousel and safari train, making for a very interactive day.

Along with seeing your favorite furry friends, the package includes round-trip foot passage on the ferry, shuttle transportation, and admission to Cape May Park and Zoo. For Delaware guests, the Ferry departs the Lewes terminal at 8:45 a.m. and returns from Cape May at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $26.00 for ages 14 and older, $18.00 for ages 6 to 13, and $6.00 for children 5 years old and younger, making this an affordable way for the entire family to become one with nature. Space is limited so it is highly recommended that you reserve your family’s spot ahead of time by calling 1-800-64-Ferry (33779).
