Sunday Jamz Cruises aboard the Cape May – Lewes Ferry in July and August

(Cape May, NJ) Beginning Sunday, July 9, the Cape May – Lewes Ferry (CMLF) will once again offer its special “Sunday Jamz” cruises every Sunday through August 27, 2017. Cape May Sunday Jamz leave the terminal at 3:30 p.m. and return from Lewes at 5:15 p.m. For the Lewes Sunday Jamz cruises, passengers will leave on the 3:15 p.m. departure, returning from Cape May at 5:00 p.m.

“Summer is the time to kick back and relax,” said Rhona Bronson, marketing director at the Ferry. “What better way to unwind than to take a ride across the Delaware Bay, let the breeze blow through your hair, and enjoy some great music and an ice-cold beverage. It’s definitely a ticket to paradise, and an inexpensive way to take the family on a ‘mini cruise’!”

Cape May Sunday Jamz

Dale Barth - July 9, 16, 23 and August 6, 20 (3:30 p.m. departure / 5:15 p.m.)
Performing since the 1980s, musician Dale Barth has mastered rock, country and the blues. Dale Barth has played venues in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey injecting each set with high energy and humor. For more information:

Carly & Me - July 30 and August 13 (3:30 p.m. departure / 5:15 p.m.)
Real life couple Carly & Me perform a wide range of songs from classic rock, contemporary country and hits from the ‘90s to now. Since their first show at The College of New Jersey, where they first met, the duo have gone on to perform at Bourbon and Branch and Trocadero. For more information:

Lewes Sunday Jamz

Electric Velvet - July 9, 23, August 6, 13, 20 (3:15 p.m. departure / 5:00 p.m. return)
Formed in 1996, Electric Velvet continues to develop their sound by playing a wide range of covers from rock, party and dance songs. The female fronted band has been performing in the Delmarva Peninsula, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey for over fifteen years. For more information visit:

The Ginger Band performs acoustic renditions of hits from the ‘60s to today. The local trio based in Lewes perform clean, simple and beautiful arrangements of classic songs that are sure to move you. For more information visit:

“Sunday Jamz” roundtrip tickets cost $19.00 for adults 14 years old and up, $15.00 for senior and military, $9.00 for children 6-13 years old, and children 5 years old or less are free. A round trip adult foot passenger ticket includes entertainment and a wristband to receive $1.00 off every beer and soda purchase.
