JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A month after Avelo Airlines began offering flights out of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), the airline announced Tuesday that it will begin an "exclusive nonstop service" out of JAX this summer.

Avelo said it will offer nonstop flights between JAX and the Wilmington Airport (ILG) in New Castle, Delaware. A press release from Avelo states that the airline is the only one offering nonstop service between Jacksonville and the Philadelphia / Delaware Valley region
