CAPE MAY, NJ – Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials announced a virtual public hearing to discuss the goals and objectives of proposed fare changes at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry. Among the changes to be considered are fare adjustments to reflect inflationary pressures and selected fare decreases to encourage family and multi-trip travel at the bi-state agency’s southern crossing facility.

Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) representatives and Delaware elected leaders will gather to officially dedicate and unveil the newly renovated and significantly expanded Wall of Remembrance at Veterans Memorial Park. The new wall memorializes more than 16,000 service men and service women from both states who died serving the United States in all conflicts from World War II to the present day. The ceremony will feature brief remarks from federal and state officials, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and ceremonial raising of all six service flags.
