Making Waves: Live Music at the Cape May Ferry Terminal 

The weekly concerts are sponsored by Lower Township and the Cape May – Lewes Ferry on the Coastline Realty Stage. 

LOWER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Get ready for another summer of incredible live music! Cape May-Lewes Ferry and Lower Township officials are thrilled to announce the return of their beloved summer free concert series. Beginning Wednesday, July 9, and continuing every Wednesday for eight consecutive weeks, the ferry’s picturesque terminal lawn will host a series of eight free concerts. Each concert will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  The weekly concerts are sponsored by Lower Township and the Cape May – Lewes Ferry on the Coastline Realty Stage. 
 
“The summer concert series at the Ferry has become a cherished tradition, offering a blend of breathtaking bay views and live entertainment,” stated Heath Gehrke, Director of Ferry Operations. “We're excited to continue our partnership with Lower Township to provide these free community events, creating memorable nights for all ages.” 
 
Lower Township's Mayor Frank Sippel echoed the sentiment, saying, "Lower Township Council is excited for another season of free concerts. The concerts in Lower Township are the most attended in the County!" 
 
At the Cape May Ferry Terminal, Stowaways offers a full-service bar and restaurant – with delicious family friendly menu options and a relaxed atmosphere.
  
Concert-goers can enjoy a full evening of entertainment and delicious food options. "We're thrilled to be part of the summer concert series at the Cape May Ferry," said Marisa Peragine, General Manager of Stowaways Cape May. "Whether guests are dining indoors or outdoors, they can enjoy our full menu of fresh seafood, scratch-made dishes, appetizers, and handcrafted cocktails while soaking in the live music and stunning waterfront views. For those looking for a quick bite on the lawn, we’ll also offer hot dogs, burgers, snacks, and beverages from our concession stands on the green, ensuring there's something for everyone." 
 
While carry-in alcoholic beverages are not permitted, attendees may bring light snacks and drinks for the kids. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beach towels or lawn chairs to comfortably enjoy the performances.

Fatt Mezz Children’s Fundraiser – Wednesday, August 6, 2025 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.): Join us for a special benefit concert featuring South Jersey’s own rock band, Fatt Mezz, supporting a wonderful children's fundraiser. Fat Mezz, formed in 2020, is known for their captivating cover performances and original music. Amish Outlaws – Wednesday, August 13, 2025 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.): Be prepared for a genre-bending performance from the always entertaining Amish Outlaws. Don’t Call Me Francis – Wednesday, August 27, 2025 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.): Close out the summer concert series with the dazzling sounds of Don't Call Me Francis. The Don’t Call Me Francis Band is a nine-member, multi-instrumental ensemble, capable of performing every style of music, both past and present.
