Delaware River and Bay Authority Releases 2021 Committee and Board Meeting Schedule

The DRBA plans to resume in-person Committee and Board meetings when conditions permit and it is safe to do so. Generally, these in-person meetings take place in the James Julian Boardroom, located in the Administration Building of the Delaware River and Bay Authority in New Castle, Delaware. 

NEW CASTLE, Del. – Today, Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) officials have published the Committee and Board meeting schedule for the 2021 calendar year.  DRBA public meetings are slated to take place on the following dates below:

                              Thursday, January 21                                    Tuesday, July 20

                              Wednesday, February 17                             NO MEETING IN AUGUST

                              Tuesday, March 16                                        Tuesday, September 21

                              Tuesday, April 20                                           Tuesday, October 19

                              Tuesday, May 18                                            Tuesday, November 16

                              Tuesday, June 15                                           Tuesday, December 21

To adhere to CDC recommendations to avoid large gatherings and observe social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the DRBA offices are closed to the public and are operating with remote working staff and reduced, staggered employees on-site to ensure the continuity of operations.  As a result, DRBA Committee and Board meetings will be held virtually until further notice.  These meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. and the electronic link will be available at www.drba.net approximately one week prior to the meeting date.

In addition to the general Board meeting where official Authority actions take place, one or more of the following Committees may also meet to discuss matters pertaining to the DRBA:  Audit and Governance Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, Economic Development Committee, Personnel Committee, and Projects Committee.  If the need arises, additional meetings may be added to the above schedule and will be posted on www.drba.net.
