Introducing the Ferry to Rail Adventure Package at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry

LEWES, Del. Prepare for a one-of-a-kind summer adventure! The Cape May - Lewes Ferry (CMLF) is launching its brand-new "Ferry to Rail Adventure," which combines the breathtaking scenery of a ferry trip with the thrill of rail biking. Available Tuesdays in July and August 2025 (July 22, 29, and August 5, 12, 19, 26), this exclusive package provides a unique chance to experience Cape May's natural wonders, including a ride on Revolution Rail's Cape May Run, which is ranked in the top 10% of all attractions worldwide on Tripadvisor.

"The new 'Ferry to Rail Adventure,' offers our passengers a truly unique way to experience the beauty of Cape May," said Jennifer Shivers, Assistant Director of Operations for the CMLF. "We are always looking for ways to partner with the community, and this is perfect since our trolley already brings passengers right to where Revolution Rail is located. It's an unforgettable addition to our summer offerings, and we anticipate a fantastic turnout for this inaugural season."

Through rehabilitating underutilized railroad lines into scenic rail biking routes, Revolution Rail brings riders of all ages and skill levels closer to nature, history, and each other. Rev Rail's custom-designed rail bikes offer a unique and exciting way to experience the outdoors by inviting riders to pedal along railroad tracks in iconic locations.

“We’re thrilled to team up with the Cape May – Lewes Ferry for this land-and-sea adventure,” adds Jake Cuomo, Revolution Rail’s Cape May General Manager. “Both of our companies are in the business of connecting people - whether it’s across the bay or through the beauty of Cape May and alongside the Garrett Family Preserve. With the ferry, shuttle, and rail biking all rolled into one, it’s a fun, seamless way to explore the area without ever needing your car. It’s what summer is all about—fresh air, great views, and shared memories.”
